Restrictions: Water supply and electricity is not necessarily a condition of rental agreement. Inflatables and gas fryers are not permitted. Rental agreement is from Park Opening until sundown. Gates are locked at sundown. Shelters must be cleared and renters vacated prior to sundown.
ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED AT SHELTERS
Shelters are covered but not enclosed areas. Shelters are cleaned daily, however, wind and nature conditions may result in leaves, etc. covering shelter floors. We will not be responsible for shelter conditions beyond our once daily cleaning.
PARK RULES
- Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
- Bicycles are permitted only on designated paths.
- Roller skates, rollerblades, scooters and skateboards are prohibited.
- Posting of advertising materials is prohibited except by express permission of the Park Superintendent.
- Geocaching locations must be registered with the Parks & Recreation Department.
- It is unlawful to excavate, cut or remove any plant materials; or to mutilate or deface any park equipment or facility.
- Pets must be kept on a leash and may not run at large. Owners are required to remove any pet waste that is deposited. Pets are prohibited on all sports fields.
- Firearms or weapons of any kind are prohibited on park properties.
- Fireworks, incendiary devices, open fires, and deep fryer cook equipment are strictly prohibited on park properties.
- It is unlawful to interfere with or harm any wildlife on park properties.
- Fishing in any waterway on park property is prohibited.
- No sales of any kind are permitted without the express permission of the Park Superintendent.
- Smoking is prohibited within all park buildings and within 50 ft. of any posted “Tobacco Free Zones” such as athletic fields or areas of youth activity.
- Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Field usage must be approved by the Park Superintendent.
- Dumping of any materials is expressly forbidden.
- Use of the park after hours must be approved by the Park Superintendent.
- Amplified music that carries more than 50 feet or is loud enough to disturb other patrons is prohibited.
- Remote control vehicles are strictly prohibited.
- Picnic shelters are reserved on a first come, first served basis for a fee.
- The painting of fields, turf, or any other facility within the park is expressly prohibited. The installation of tents or other similar structures which require stakes must be approved by the Park Superintendent.
- Inflatable attractions (bounce houses, etc.), dunking-booths, and similar features are prohibited. Pony rides are prohibited.
- BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY ANY AND ALL EXECUTIVE ORDERS ISSUED BY THE GOVERNOR OF NORTH CAROLINA. SPECIFICALLY, YOU AGREE NOT TO EXCCEED THE ALLOWABLE NUMBER OF PEOPLE GATHERING IN AN OUTDOOR SETTING DUE TO COVID-19.
